The new set files are being updated on the members only area on the first weekend of each month. If the weekend happens to be on the end of the month, the update will be done on that weekend. 

We have started publishing the set files we use in our own trading every month. If you like to see them, you can access them via the members only area. We are updating the setfiles on the first weekend of each month, buy Sunday noon ET.

If the weekend is close to the end of the month, we may update the files earlier, like this month where the September set files are already available today.  

I uploaded the set files I use for Forex-AI on these two accounts on the members only area in case you like to see them. I will upload the new set files in the first week of each month.

If you have purchased Forex-AI you most probably have registered already. If you haven't, please do not register. Every registration will be manually checked against your payment record before you get authorized to access the members only area.

Also, I received many emails last week why the EA was not trading.

Sometimes I stop the EA when I feel it is better not to trade. This happends typically at the end of December of when some major announcement is coming out.

In this particular case I have stopped the EA on the second of June and only turned it back on the 8th. I did that because the VPS provider notified me that they will be doing maintenance last week and I didn't want to risk having positions open while the server goes down.
 

February was pretty flat so far and made only about 8% on this account.
Unfortunately we switched off the trader for Friday as it is typically a slow day, but the EURUSD ended up shooting up and we would have make at least 100 pips if we didn't switch it off.

Today we changed the alt_symbol to CL_CONT (To use other than gold)
Changed S/L 90 pips to "P" Periodical
and re-trained the NN.

 

We are now running this account on 3.0 Beta using the following parameters:

S/L 90
S/L Mode Trail
T/P 820
Alt Symbol XAU
Optimized on 6 month data

Please note, that the new version supports micro lots (0.01) and we reduced the risk per trade from 3.6% to 3% is the reason it now trades with smaller lots.

We are also using trailing S/L orders instead of the 4H Periodically changing S/L.
 

 

 

During the XMas break we had a server reboot which caused some issue. We have restarted the MT4, but it somehow failed to place new trades on this account. We did a manual trade today just to make sure the account is still ok. Well, in real life issues sometimes happen. Because Forex-AI AutoTrader trades only a few times a week, occasional outages typically do not cause major harm.

 

The EURUSD had a large move in December and our system was able to predict it extremely well. Don’t expect however that every month will be as good as this. This December result has exceeded out expectation. 

 

We had a pretty good month in November returning over 700 pips.

 

The account was opened with $500 only to show the system can trade using such small amount. Be aware of however, that we have turned off automatic money management and set 0.1Lot trade size.

 

This account made a small profit for February, but nothing to brag about.
Our trader is a swing trader and need a bit more movement in the EURUSD to make good profit.

Today we re-trained the network and and left all parameters as before, using Gold as the alt_symbol.

Our balance finished ended up over $8,400 by the end of January, a whopping 68.5% profit just for January.

 

Our $500 account above didn’t perform as well this month. It did very well in November and December, but only managed to break even in January.

 

A better than expected result. If we took out the large gain in the massive move of the EURUSD, in December we would still be up 800 pips however!

 

A modest, but steady 20% increase in our portfolio value in November.

 

We used manual 0.1pip trade size. We will change it to Automatic once the balance reaches $4,000.
